The Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) program provides the opportunity for eligible B.A. students to petition the faculty to award course equivalency credit for their demonstrable out-of-classroom learning that matches the learning objectives of a course(s) in their academic program.

Program Requirements

To engage with the CPL program students:

• Must be matriculated/planning to matriculate in a B.A. program at SLU
• Must complete at least 30 credits in SLU courses toward their B.A.
• Cannot use CPL for any class for which they already have credit
